Exciting times in Beaumaris

From a spark of an idea between like-minded Beaumaris residents, I am so excited that BEAUMARIS MODERN is well and truly up and running!

Our mission, as a non-profit organisation, is to celebrate, educate and promote public awareness of the importance of preserving the mid-century architecture of Beaumaris.

As part of this mission, Beaumaris Modern is holding an exciting launch event:

To be held at the Beaumaris Community Hall on Thursday 17 August 2017, the evening will feature a presentation of stunning examples of mid-century modernist exteriors, interiors & gardens in Beaumaris.  The event will be introduced by our special guest, Tim Ross of ‘Streets of Your Town’ fame, has already generated great interest within the local community and as a result SOLD OUT within minutes!

This week saw the launch of the stunning BEAUMARIS MODERN website, which is packed full of amazing photos of our wondrous architectural gems.

The website and launch event are just the beginning, as Beaumaris Modern grows and continues to celebrate our wonderful suburb’s architectural character, social and natural environment.

Anyone can join Beaumaris Modern and your membership dollars go towards maintaining the website, funding future events, printing resource material and keep the association working towards its mission!
