There is stretch along Reserve Road, Beaumaris, where the properties sit up high on what I love to think of as an ancient sand dune. Above the road and behind gardens of dense Tea-tree, can be found some great original Beaumaris homes.
This home has been on the market before, but didn’t seem to grab any attention. Well, it’s back and hopefully can find an owner!
Plenty to keep you busy in the garden, but so much scope for flowering native groundcovers beneath that Tea-tree (Leptospermum laevigatum)!
Behind the garden, you can see that the built form of the house is still in good condition with some great windows bringing in light and allowing views of the greenery.
The house is quite interesting, in that it is essentially a narrow two-storey rectangle. This allows windows to each side of the main rooms, providing light and pretty amazing views!
I’m a big fan of the tiles and timber in the kitchen!
And once again, large windows provide an amazing spot for a breakfast table.
The bedroom is for those who like a splash of colour…..
And the bathroom is something a little extra exciting!
There is a great space out the back under the canopy of a native Eucalyptus tree and with more Tea-tree.
While there may be a bit to do in the garden, what a exciting project to look forward to!
